The name says it all. This is a space to pause. Reflect. Ask the questions that keep you up at night. Wrestle with truth. And maybe—just maybe—encounter God in a new, unexpected way.

Our goal is simple: to explore the intersection of faith, leadership, and culture through raw, real conversation. You won’t find gimmicks here. Just honest dialogue, thoughtful teaching, and a few unexpected turns—like using sports and rock music to talk about Jesus (yes, we go there). And no, you don’t need a theology degree to join in.
MEET YOUR HOST
After a 35-year career as a CPA and partner at one of the nation’s top accounting firms, Mike retired early—not to play golf, but to go all-in for the Kingdom.

The Thinking Chair was born out of Mike’s desire to make faith accessible, relatable, and grounded in everyday life. He’s not a pastor. He doesn’t have a seminary degree. But what he does have is a deep love for Jesus, a mind that never stops asking questions, and a heart that beats for helping others explore their own spiritual journey.

This isn’t about preaching at you. It’s about inviting you to think, to ask, and to discover something meaningful.
